Working on Multiple Missions at Once

Max out your working hours with an additional mission

Welcome, chronic overachievers!

A handful of builders decide to join more than one mission at the same time. If your current mission leaves you with leftover working hours, you can consider joining another mission that suits your availability.

Naturally, your current mission takes priority, and any additional mission must accommodate for your current mission’s time commitment.

If you’re working less than 30 hours per week on your current mission → We can find a second mission for you. We recommend requesting to join missions that bring your total weekly hours to a maximum of 50. Keep in mind, requirements can fluctuate — so don’t overbook yourself.

If you’re working more than 30 hours per week on your current mission → Be careful adding another mission to your workload. Missions can fluctuate, and you might find yourself working more hours than expected. This can lead to burnout — which we don’t want to risk. We recommend requesting to join short-term missions (3-4 months) that require maximum 20 hours per week.

If you want to request to join a second mission, here are the next steps:

Step 1: Update your availability

Head over to your profile, click Edit (upper right-hand corner), and fill out your availability.

Step 2: Review your profile

While you’re there, make sure your profile is up-to-date. Review your time zone and location, working hours, skills, industries, jobs, and project cards.

Step 3: Start requesting missions

Take a look at your recommended missions (they’ll automatically update to fit your availability and other details) and request to join any roles that could suit you. If you come across a role that seems like a good fit, reach out to the Team Architect of the mission after requesting to join.
