Check-ins & TeamPulse
Share feedback to improve your mission experience
We like to pop in every so often to make sure things are running well, see that you’re happy with your mission and team, and assure that you’re on a path to success. Our Mission Success team does that with regular check-ins and TeamPulse.
Check-ins
We use check-ins to make sure you’re enjoying your experience with A.Team. Your first month on a mission is a critical time, and we want to establish that you’re on the right track. You’ll see three check-ins during that period. After your first month, check-ins will be every two months. We’ll reach out via Slack or email, or set up a quick Zoom call.
Here’s what to expect from your first few check-ins:
- 1 week check-in: About a week after your mission kicks off we’ll message you to check that everything is going smoothly — and you’re well into onboarding.
- 2 week check-in: Two weeks after your start date, we’ll reach out to see how things are going and if there are any challenges. You should be finished onboarding around this time, and we’ll be excited to hear about any visible contributions you’re starting to make.
- 1 month check-in: A month after you start on your mission, we’ll conduct a deeper check-in. This might be on Slack but could involve a Zoom call. This is an opportunity to share insights and talk about your first significant contributions.
- Bimonthly check-in: Every two months we’ll bring your team together to get your feedback and see if everything is going as planned. This is an opportunity to connect with your teammates and share your learnings.
TeamPulse
TeamPulse is the way we collect feedback about your team and mission, to check that you’re jiving well with the people you’re working with. Every time you submit your timesheet you’ll be prompted with a TeamPulse. It takes about two minutes.
TeamPulse will ask for you to rate and review your mission experience. If you have teammates, you’ll also be asked to rate and review your experience with them as well.
You can find your team’s mission rating on your mission page — it calculates the average of all TeamPulse responses from builders on your mission. If you’re the only person on a mission you’ll have the option to keep your ratings confidential. Your comments are only shared with A.Team’s Mission Success team.
Our Mission Success team reviews each TeamPulse, so this is a terrific opportunity to raise any issues you might have. If you raise an issue in your TeamPulse, expect to hear from us within 3 to 5 days — and we’ll do everything we can to resolve the problem. The Mission Success team can view feedback and rating between teammates, companies about their builders, and builders about companies. But internal teammates cannot.
