Getting Discovered
Direct Interview Booking enables clients to easily connect with builders
What is Direct Interview Booking?
Direct Interview Booking enables companies to book interviews directly with builders from the Discover and Search pages on the A.Team client app. Instead of waiting for builders to apply to missions, companies can proactively select builders they're interested in and request an interview. This feature streamlines the hiring process, allowing for quicker connections and increased efficiency for both builders and companies.
How to Become Eligible for Direct Interview Booking
In order to be eligible for direct interview booking, it's crucial to have a complete and compelling profile on A.Team. At a minimum, you’ll need to complete the items at the top of your profile page. If you do not see this tracker, you’ve successfully completed all of them.
Companies use the Discover and Search features to browse builder profiles, so having a comprehensive profile greatly increases your chances of being discovered. Make sure to highlight your skills, expertise, and achievements in your profile to stand out to potential companies.
Accepting or Declining Interviews
When a company is interested in interviewing you, they will send you an interview request through A.Team. You will receive both a notification and an email for each interview request.
Here's how to accept or decline an interview:
- Click on the provided link in the notification or email to view the interview request.
- Review the details of the interview, including the date, time, rate, and role description the company has provided.
- If you're available and interested in the opportunity, click ‘Next’, enter your preferred rate and click confirm. A confirmation will be sent to your email and calendar with a meeting link.
- If you're unavailable or not interested in the opportunity, click "Decline" and indicate the reason why you’re declining the interview request. This will notify the company that you're unable to proceed. It’s always best to politely decline instead of not answer a request.
Note: Companies sending interview requests are ready to hire and looking to move quickly, meaning you will have 24 hours to respond or the meeting request will be auto-declined. If you do not respond to an interview request, your profile will be set to unavailable. You can always update this by editing your profile details.
Opting Out of Direct Interview Booking
If you prefer not to participate in direct interview booking and wish to opt out, you can easily adjust your privacy settings on A.Team. Here's how:
- Navigate to your profile settings by clicking on Options → Settings in the top right corner.
- Select the "Privacy" section
- Toggle off the "Company Visibility" option
By opting out, your profile will no longer be visible to companies for direct interview booking. Please note that this may limit your visibility to potential opportunities, so consider your preferences carefully before opting out.
