Evaluation Call
Show off your skills and experience
It’s our mission to build the best place on earth for top-tier builders, offering the opportunity to work on meaningful challenges. To achieve this, we ensure A.Team is a mutual good fit for everyone involved.
How to Join an Evaluation Call?
To schedule your evaluation call, complete the steps on the ‘Setup’ tab when logged into the platform. You’ll need to complete your profile and submit it to our team for review before joining an evaluation call.
Before scheduling your evaluation, you'll be asked to fill out a brief form that indicates what you’d like to discuss on the call. Since the call lasts about 30 minutes, we want to make the most of it. You’ll be asked to pick the skills and projects you’d like to be evaluated on. Some roles, like product designers, will also need to provide a case study or portfolio, while developers will need to share a code sample. These work samples help us steer the conversation and help you show us your proven record of success.
What is the Evaluation Call?
The evaluation call is a mandatory step to completing your onboarding, where we get to know know your background and determine your expertise and skill level. After the call, we’ll make a decision as to whether we think there is demand for your expertise and skillset from companies in the network.
The Purpose of the Evaluation Call
The call allows us to understand your experience in building products and your deep skill or domain expertise. It’s our way of confirming you’re a good fit for our exclusive network and matching you to the right missions.
How to Prepare for the Call
After choosing the skills and projects to discuss, make sure you can talk about them in depth and answer questions confidently. You should also prepare a brief self-introduction. We recommend having a 1-minute “elevator pitch” that summarizes who you are and your key strengths to kickstart the conversation.
